Our Annual Bronx Reunion in Wildwood Crest, Thank you!
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who came out to celebrate Arthur Avenue in style at our annual Bronx Reunion.
It was an incredible weekend hosted by the gracious Madison Resort in Wildwood Crest and their Cape May bar and restaurant, Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille.
During our opening night, a representative from Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s office stopped by and presented us with two proclamations recognizing the work we’ve been doing through the Gold Star Services Network. It was an incredibly meaningful moment and a reminder that this weekend is about so much more than getting together and having a good time.
And, of course, we had plenty of fun along the way. We bopped and strolled around Harry’s in Cape May during an incredible dance party led by my favorite radio DJ, Ken Schaffer of WIBG. The music, the people and the energy made it a night we won’t soon forget.
The Bronx Reunion is about celebrating the neighborhood we grew up in—the people, friendships, traditions and experiences that helped shape our lives. But just as importantly, it gives us an opportunity to support Gold Star families who have made an unimaginable sacrifice through the loss of a loved one while serving our country.
I want to personally thank everyone who donated to the Gold Star Services Network. I know each and every one of you, and your generosity truly means the world to me.
Thank you again to everyone who attended, donated, danced, laughed and helped make this year’s Bronx Reunion so special. I’m already looking forward to doing it all again very soon. I’m working on something fun for the fall!
Cheers,
BZ
