Gold Star Mothers Invited to Attend Wreath Laying at North Wildwood Memorial

Members of the American Gold Star Mothers of New Jersey have been invited to attend a special wreath laying ceremony at the new Gold Star Memorial in North Wildwood, New Jersey.

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM at the Gold Star Memorial in North Wildwood, NJ.

The request was shared by Patricia Bye, President of the American Gold Star Mothers of New Jersey, following a message from Jay “Doc” Boxwell Jr., NJ VFW All American Past State Commander 2022–23, National Legislative Committee member, and Convention Director.

According to the message, the Commander would like to recognize Gold Star Mothers and their families during the wreath laying ceremony. Gold Star Mothers and family members are encouraged to attend so they can be honored for their sacrifice and recognized as part of this meaningful memorial event.

Because this is a last-minute request, members are asked to respond as soon as possible if they are available to attend.
